Visiting an Interior Design Showroom in Naples? Here's What to Bring
You don't need to have your entire renovation figured out before visiting an interior design showroom.
In fact, that's exactly what the showroom is there to help with.
If you're planning a kitchen, custom closet, built-in or home renovation in Naples, bringing a few pieces of information to your first design meeting can help us understand your project much faster.
Bring Your Plans or Measurements
If you're building a new home, architectural plans are one of the most helpful things you can bring.
For an existing home, measurements, sketches or even a real estate floor plan can give us a starting point.
Don't have measurements?
That's okay.
We can still begin discussing the project, your goals and design direction before detailed dimensions are available.
Bring Photos of the Existing Space
Take more pictures than you think we'll need.
Photograph the entire room, adjoining spaces, windows, doors, ceiling conditions and anything unusual about the architecture.
For renovation projects, existing photos can help us identify opportunities that aren't always obvious from measurements alone.
Save Your Inspiration Photos
Pinterest, Instagram, Houzz and screenshots are all welcome.
You don't need to know exactly what you like about each image.
That's part of our job.
Sometimes we'll notice that every kitchen you've saved has warm white cabinetry. Or perhaps you're consistently drawn to natural stone, darker woods, reeded details or unlacquered metals.
A collection of inspiration images can tell us a lot about your design preferences.
Know Your Priorities
Think about what's most important to you.
More storage?
A larger island?
A kitchen designed for entertaining?
A closet that finally has enough shoe storage?
A home office that doesn't look like an office?
You don't need to know the solution. We just need to understand the problem we're trying to solve.
Have a General Budget in Mind
You don't need an exact number, but understanding the general investment level helps us recommend appropriate options.
Ervani offers both fully custom cabinetry and made-in-America semi-custom cabinetry with shorter lead times.
Knowing the priorities, scope and budget allows us to determine which approach makes the most sense.
Bring Existing Material Samples If You Have Them
If flooring is already installed or you've selected something that must remain, bring a sample if possible.
The same applies to existing paint, stone, tile or other finishes.
We can compare new cabinetry, countertops and hardware directly against materials that are already committed.
What Can You Select at Ervani?
Our Naples Design Studio allows homeowners to work through much more than cabinetry.
Ervani offers:
Full custom cabinetry and closets
Made-in-America semi-custom cabinetry
Countertops and stone
Sinks and plumbing fixtures
Cabinet hardware
Space planning and 3D design
Interior material and finish selections
When you book custom cabinetry with Ervani, design time is included to help coordinate flooring, countertops, backsplash, hardware, wall colors and surrounding finishes.
We're also conveniently located next door to Edith Hoft and partner with their team for tile, wallpaper and upholstery.
The goal is to make the selection process easier and create a home where the materials actually belong together.
